Garden Amazement

I’m amazed when I walk out and explore the garden.  All this stuff happens while I’m not looking: zucchini leaves grow to the size of dinner plates, blueberries ripen, blossoms magically become plums and apples, cherries and pears.  Shiny figs plump up and soften, the pea patch looks like a jungle of vines and pods, and that’s just above ground!  Underground, burgundy beets are getting round and juicy, brown tubers are branching out beneath the lush, bushy potato plants, and rainbows of carrots are lengthening down into the moist soil. So much to be thankful for!

  1. Gardens are constantly providing amazement! I love looking and comparing pictures taken of the garden – even from week to week! This morning I looked at my 6′ tall tomato plants and was amazed as I thought of the little tiny seed I planted inside in April! Happy Gardening! 🙂
